Women in Wealth Management Speakers


Alane Siem

Alane joined Altius Learning as an Principal in early 2017 after 36 years with Merrill Lynch/Bank of America. She retired as a Managing Director in April of 2016. Alane spent the first 20 years of her career as a Financial Advisor in New York City and Princeton, NJ and in 2003 transitioned to a leadership role as the Associate Director in Charlotte, NC.  From 2006 to 2013, Alane was the Merrill Complex Director for various markets including Greater Atlanta, Atlanta Buckhead and Western Pennsylvania. She also served on the Director Advisory Council to Senior Management and was elected Chairperson in 2011.

In 2013 Alane served as the Southeast Division Executive for Preferred Banking and Merrill Edge where she led a team of Financial Solution Advisors delivering banking, lending, credit and investment solutions to Bank of America’s Preferred clients in the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. By 2015 Alane became the Sales and Strategy Executive for Preferred Banking and Merrill Edge.

Alane graduated from Pace University in New York City. She resides with her husband in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.  They have two daughters, Morgan and Cornelia.

 


Missy Warner

Missy’s career in Business Development spans more than 25 years.  Her experience includes the financial services industry and the oil and gas industry. She has held positions in management, training and leading teams in sales and branding.  She is experienced in developing new markets and driving financially sound initiatives.

She has a passion to bring women together to help them excel at what they do.  Her earlier career was in the oil and gas industry, another male dominated arena. She co-founded Women in Energy, and it is with great enthusiasm that she has been able to work with the Altius Learning team to create our Women in Wealth Management event. Missy understands a financial advisor’s mindset and knows how to help women grow their practice using results-based coaching to accelerate success.

Missy graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado and received her MBA from the University of Denver.  She and her husband John live in Denver, they have 3 married sons and 4 grandchildren.

 


 

Maureen Kelley

Maureen Kelley is a financial services executive with expertise in complex and comprehensive wealth management. With over 25 years as a financial advisor she has served as Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Private Bank. She began her career as a financial consultant at Smith Barney.

Maureen is currently a wealth advisor to a private family office and the founder of MADRE, a financial wellbeing consulting practice. She is the creator of programs designed to empower women to take charge of their financial lives.  Her experience and passion include next generation education, financial responsibility, wealth transfer and family dynamics.

With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island, Maureen has achieved numerous graduate certifications. She is an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor, a Certified Family Coach, Family Wealth Advisor from the Family Firm Institute, Executive Women’s Leadership at the Wharton School, and a graduate of Financial Therapy from Kansas State University. Maureen has studied Bowen Family Systems Theory and at the Institute for Preparing Heirs.
